• Descripción: Fmoc-S-trityl-D-cysteine (Fmoc-SC) is a modified amino acid that is used in the synthesis of biomolecules. It can be synthesized using a stepwise process, starting with the reaction between cysteine and trityl chloride. Fmoc-SC has been shown to inhibit mitochondrial membrane potential and cell growth in cancer cells. Additionally, it has pharmacokinetic properties that make it suitable for intravenous administration. Fmoc-SC can also be used to modify proteins by reacting with hydroxyl groups on lysine residues and other nucleophiles, as well as to inhibit histone deacetylases (HDACs), which are enzymes that regulate transcriptional activity.
