Descripción:Fmoc-O-trityl-D-serine is an inhibitor of the phosphatases that catalyze the hydrolysis of phosphate esters. It binds to the protein and prevents it from acting on its substrate, thus inhibiting phosphatase activity. Fmoc-O-trityl-D-serine has been shown to inhibit a number of phosphatases, including serine/threonine phosphatases, tyrosine phosphatases, and acid phosphatases. This drug can be used as a tool for research into mammalian cells and their role in cancer. The advantage of using this inhibitor is that it can be synthesized rapidly and with high homogeneity.
