Descripción:
Fmoc-1,3-diaminopropane hydrochloride (Fmoc-DAP) is a synthetic protease inhibitor that binds to the active site of the enzyme. Fmoc-DAP has been shown to be stable in long-term storage and resistant to photostability. It has been used for a variety of protease assays, including those for enzymes such as chymotrypsin and trypsin. Fmoc-DAP also inhibits other proteases such as elastase and cathepsins. This compound has been used in a ratiometric fluorescence assay for the detection of proteases.
