The hydroxyl group is located at the para position to the phenyl ring, while the benzyl group is located at the para position to the amino group. 4-Fluorobenzyl bromide has been shown to have tyrosinase inhibitory activity when tested in vitro on human melanoma cells. Kinetic experiments have also been performed for this compound.
