Información del producto
- Fmoc-N-(N-b-Boc-aminoethyl)-Gly-OHFmoc-Aeg(Boc)-OH
Fmoc-N-(2-Boc-aminoethyl)glycine is a cytotoxic compound that binds to DNA and RNA. It was synthesized by reacting Fmoc-Gly with 2-Boc-aminoethylchloride in the presence of triethylamine. The cytotoxic activity of Fmoc-N-(2-Boc-aminoethyl)glycine was studied using a spectrophotometric assay on cell viability. The binding constants and sequences were determined by fluorescence titrations, dialysis, and oligomer studies. These data showed that Fmoc-N-(2-Boc-aminoethyl)glycine has high affinity for dsDNA sites containing tandem repeats of GGCCGG or GGCAGC. This compound also has a high affinity for GGCGGCC, which is the sequence found in the human telomere DNA strand.
