It has been shown to be effective in controlling bowel disease, especially inflammatory bowel disease. Flufenamic acid butyl ester has also been shown to control symptoms of neurodermatitis and autoimmune diseases when used as a nutrient solution. Flufenamic acid butyl ester has not been found to have any statistically significant effect on infectious diseases.
