Descripción:2-Fluorophenylhydrazine HCl is a synthetic compound that belongs to the group of hydrazines. It is used as a cross-coupling agent in organic synthesis. The reaction solution can be impure, which may cause the formation of byproducts. 2-Fluorophenylhydrazine HCl reacts with formamide and hydrochloric acid to produce formaldehyde, ammonia, and hydrogen chloride gas. This reaction occurs at room temperature, but requires a long reaction time (several hours). 2-Fluorophenylhydrazine HCl has antioxidant effects and has been shown to inhibit the activity of metabotropic glutamate receptors. 2-Fluorophenylhydrazine HCl is structurally similar to curcumin analogues and has been shown to have antibacterial properties against Andrographis paniculata.
