Descripción:1-Fluoropentane is a linear molecule that has a serum half-life of about 2.5 hours. It can be used as a solvent for organic compounds, such as triflic acid and hexane. The reaction of 1-fluoropentane with aryl chlorides in the liquid phase produces active site inhibitors, such as ornithine and methylglyoxal. 1-Fluoropentane also has significant effects on hepatocytes and is an active site inhibitor for x-ray diffraction data from crystalline proteins.
