Descripción:1-Fluoroadamantane is a pyrimidine compound that has been used to study the hydrogen fluoride molecule as a model system. It has also been used in the study of inflammatory diseases, such as diazonium salt and reactive functional group. 1-Fluoroadamantane is an effective inhibitor of influenza virus replication and has been shown to be an inhibitor of the oxytocin receptor. This drug binds to the receptor and blocks the binding of oxytocin, which prevents contraction of smooth muscle. This drug can be isolated in yields as high as 80%.
