Descripción:
6-Fluoro-Benzothiazole-2-Thiol is ancillary to the class of heterocyclic compounds. It contains a fluorine atom that is bonded to two sulfur atoms and an oxygen atom. The 6-Fluoro-Benzothiazole-2-Thiol molecule has been shown to have anticancer activity in cell culture studies, which may be due to its ability to inhibit DNA synthesis. 6-Fluoro-Benzothiazole-2-Thiol also binds to the thymus receptor and can stimulate the immune system by activating T cells and natural killer cells. This compound has been crystallized using ruthenium as a ligand, which is an organometallic transition metal. 6-Fluoro-Benzothiazole-2-Thiol was incubated with a ligand containing fluorine atoms, which are aromatic heterocycles.
