6-Fluoro-3,4-Dihydro-2(1H)-Quinolinone is an alpha-adrenergic receptor blocker that blocks the reuptake of norepinephrine. This drug is a synthetic chemical compound with a quinoline core. It is used as an intermediate in the manufacture of agents that inhibit the reuptake of norepinephrine, such as atomoxetine and reboxetine. 6-Fluoro-3,4-Dihydro-2(1H)-Quinolinone is also used to make other drugs that are used for the treatment of depression, anxiety disorders, and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).
