Descripción:2-Fluoroamphetamine (2FA) is a synthetic stimulant drug that is a fluorinated amphetamine. The physiological effects of 2FA are similar to those of other amphetamines, and include increased blood pressure, heart rate, and body temperature. It has been shown that 2FA causes locomotor activity in mice, which may be due to its dopamine releasing properties. The on-line analytical method for 2FA is based on liquid chromatography with tandem mass spectrometry detection (LC-MS/MS). This method can be used to detect the presence of 2FA in urine and blood samples from humans.
