Descripción

The 1-(4-fluorosulfonylbenzoyl)oxy-2,5-dioxopyrrolidine-3-sulfonic acid (1-FSB) is a potent inhibitor of receptor tyrosine kinases such as EGFR and PDGFR. It inhibits the growth of epidermal cells by binding to EGFR, which may lead to skin cancer. The 1-FSB is an aminoacylase inhibitor that binds to the active site of tryptic proteases, inhibiting their function and leading to increased synthesis of epidermal growth factor (EGF). The 1-FSB has been shown to inhibit the growth of carcinoma cells in vitro and in vivo.
