Descripción:MS 153 is a compound that has been shown to have an inhibitory effect on chronic exposure in animals. It has also been shown to attenuate the effects of gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) in the blood sample and to reduce locomotor activity. MS 153 has a high affinity for GABA receptors and glutamate, which are neurotransmitters that play an important role in regulating many bodily functions. MS 153 also inhibits glutamate release from nerve terminals, suggesting that this drug could be used as an anti-seizure medication. The uptake of MS 153 into the brain is mediated by both extracellular and expressed mechanisms. It is transported across the blood-brain barrier by an active transport process, as well as by passive diffusion. The uptake of MS 153 into neurons is dependent on the concentration gradient, with a higher concentration gradient leading to increased uptake.
