Descripción:Gomisin C is a natural compound that has been shown to have antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects. It has been shown to inhibit the mitochondrial membrane potential, which leads to cytosolic Ca2+ accumulation. Gomisin C also inhibits 3T3-L1 preadipocyte differentiation. This compound also inhibits the polymerase chain reaction of DNA in cells, as well as the formation of crystalline cellulose and fructus. Gomisin C has been shown to be effective against neuronal death induced by ischemia–reperfusion injury and skin tumor formation induced by chemical carcinogens. It also inhibits drug transporter activity, voltage-dependent calcium channels, and enzyme activities.
