H-Gly-D-Phe-OH is a cyclic peptide with acidic properties that can bind to cytosolic Ca2+ and has been shown to have kinetic data in polymerase chain reactions. H-Gly-D-Phe-OH has been found in the wastewater treatment process as well as in fetal bovine serum, which may indicate its physiological function.
