Descripción:H-Gly-Tyr-NH2·HCl is a peptide that has been shown to have an inhibitory effect on 5-hydroxytryptamine (5-HT) receptors. It can be used as a diluent for pharmaceuticals and as a potential treatment for autoimmune diseases, which are caused by the immune system attacking healthy cells. H-Gly-Tyr-NH2·HCl has also been shown to have antiestrogenic effects in breast cancer cells. This compound may be useful for treating inflammation associated with infectious diseases, such as Stenotrophomonas maltophilia, and other inflammatory diseases, such as inflammatory bowel disease. The amide group in this peptide may also be important for its antimicrobial properties against gram negative bacteria, such as Escherichia coli.
