Descripción:Spantide I is a peptide that is a member of the Galanin family. It has been shown to have a proliferative effect on retinal cells in vitro, and may be effective in treating diabetic retinopathy. Spantide I also inhibits the production of pancreatic enzymes and choroidal neovascularization. It is a diagnostic marker for cancer and other diseases, as well as being used in the treatment of hepatitis.
