S-(+)-Glycidyl tosylate is also considered a nucleophilic reagent that reacts with nucleophiles such as amines, alcohols, and thiols. This product is an enantiomer of racemic glycidyl tosylate, which is a reaction intermediate for the synthesis of epoxy resins. The use of this product may lead to the production of hard and brittle materials due to its ability to form strong covalent bonds.
