Descripción

Glyceraldehyde is a monosaccharide that is used as a cross-linking agent. It has been shown to have the ability to be transported quickly across the cell membrane, and it can be metabolized by aerobic glycolysis in aerobacter aerogenes. Glyceraldehyde has also been shown to inhibit corynebacterium glutamicum and wheat leaves from producing fatty acids. This chemical also has an optimum pH of 2.0 and requires protonation for enzyme activity.
