Descripción:GDC 0575 is a potent and selective inhibitor of the N-type voltage-gated calcium channel. It binds to the ligand binding site of the channel and blocks the flow of calcium ions through these channels. This inhibits the release of neurotransmitters, leading to an anti-convulsant effect. GDC 0575 has also been shown to have activity as an activator, which increases intracellular calcium levels by blocking potassium channels.
