Descripción

Gly-Phe-Gly-OH is a reactive, amide group containing molecule. It has an anionic nature, which means it will interact with peroxide and form a mononuclear complex. Gly-Phe-Gly-OH is also capable of reacting with cisplatin to form a tetradentate complex in the presence of two equivalents of tripeptides. The magnetic resonance spectroscopy study on this compound showed that it possesses a chromophore. This chromophore causes the molecule to rotate dihedrally and ligand to form hydrogen bonds in order to stabilize the molecule.
