Descripción

Gonadorelin acetate is a hormone that is used to treat insufficient production of gonadotropins by the pituitary gland. It has been shown to stimulate ovarian activity, which may be due to its ability to increase estradiol levels. Gonadorelin acetate also has been shown to stimulate carcinoma cell lines in vitro and has a number of physiological effects. The drug binds with high affinity to voltage-dependent calcium channels and polymerase chain reaction (PCR) techniques have revealed that it inhibits bacterial growth.
