Descripción:Gomisin G is a drug that inhibits the activity of the enzyme epidermal growth factor receptor. It has been shown to inhibit the activities of other enzymes, such as hydroxyl group-containing enzymes and protein kinase C. The natural compound gomisin G has been shown to inhibit drug transporter proteins, including P-glycoprotein, in vitro. Gomisin G has also been shown to bind to and inhibit human cyp3a4. This inhibition may be responsible for the observed interactions with pentobarbital sodium and other drugs which are substrates for this protein.
