• Descripción: Glycerol monododecanoate is a natural compound that has been shown to have antimicrobial properties. It inhibits the growth of bacteria by disrupting bacterial cell membranes and inhibiting enzyme activity. Glycerol monododecanoate has been shown to be effective against methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) and Proteus mirabilis, but not against Escherichia coli. This antimicrobial agent may work synergistically with other drugs and should be used with caution in patients taking drugs that inhibit CYP3A4.
