• Descripción: L-histidinol dihydrochloride (L-His) is a drug that is used in functional studies and as an assay for histidine. It has antiviral properties and enhances the synthesis of glutamate, which is important for brain function. L-His has also been shown to enhance the proliferation of cancer cells by activating CYP2E1 and inducing p450 activity. L-His inhibits the growth of leukemia cells by inhibiting the G1 phase of the cell cycle.
