Descripción:Hexadecylphosphoethanolamine is a polyunsaturated phospholipid that is found in the cell membrane. It is an antiestrogen and has been shown to inhibit the biosynthesis of estrogens by conjugating with them. Hexadecylphosphoethanolamine has also been shown to be involved in leukemia cells, pro-apoptotic protein synthesis, and inhibiting properties. Active substances that are present in this phospholipid include carboxylic acid and choline, which are pharmacological agents. The addition of hexadecylphosphoethanolamine to food additives can increase uptake by fat tissue.
