Descripción:Resveratrol is a polyphenolic compound that has been shown to have antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. This substance can also protect cells from oxidative damage, which is caused by reactive oxygen species (ROS). Resveratrol has been found to be particularly effective in the treatment of leukemia cells, as well as cancer cells. It has also been shown to inhibit the production of ROS, as well as the expression of genes involved in cell death pathways. Resveratrol may reduce the risk of cancer by inhibiting tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-α) and nitric oxide synthase (iNOS).
