Descripción:Harmine hydrochloride is a natural compound that inhibits the signal pathways of cells and can inhibit the growth of some types of cancer cells. Harmine hydrochloride has been shown to have acute toxicities in both humans and murine hepatoma cells, although its physiological effects are unknown. This drug interacts with many other drugs, including antimicrobial agents, and may have antioxidative properties. Harmine hydrochloride has been shown to be effective against resistant mutants of bacteria and fungi in vitro. The analytical method for harmine hydrochloride is currently unknown.
