Información del producto
- Hydroquinone Monoheptyl Ether
4-Heptyloxyphenol is a natural phenolic compound that has been shown to be effective in inhibiting the growth of a variety of cancer cells. It has been used as a chemotherapeutic agent in animal models, but its use in humans has not been well documented. 4-Heptyloxyphenol binds to the protein tyrosine kinase and inhibits epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) signalling, which may lead to decreased cell proliferation and tumor size. The binding of 4-heptyloxyphenol to EGFR is reversible and does not cause permanent damage or inhibit other kinases. 4-Heptyloxyphenol also inhibits progesterone receptors, which may reduce side effects caused by hormone therapy. 4-Heptyloxyphenol is classified as a Category IIB carcinogen, meaning that it may pose some degree of risk for humans.
