Descripción:Heterophyllin B is a protein gene that is found in the acetate extract of the leaves of Heterophyllum leucotrichum. It has been shown to have growth-promoting effects on fetal bovine cells, and also has a role in regulating fatty acid synthesis. The lc-ms/ms method was used to identify the sequence of heterophyllin B, which was found to be composed of a cyclic peptide. Heterophyllin B also binds to β-catenin, which may play a role in cell signaling pathways and tissue culture.
