(aR)-A-hydroxy-N-[2-(4-nitrophenyl)ethyl]benzeneacetamide is a solvent that is used in the production of other chemicals. It is a high yield reductive amination process that has been scaled up to produce ammonium salt solvents. The reduction process involves the use of aluminium as a reducing agent and ammonia as an additive, which helps to increase the yield. This chemical can be produced using a variety of reactors, such as autoclaves, tanks, and stirred tank reactors. (aR)-A-hydroxynaphthaleneacetamide can also be produced using mirabegron as a synthetic pathway.
