4-Hydrazino-8-Trifluoromethyl-Quinoline is an aromatic amine that can be synthesized by reacting formamide and ethoxymethylenecyanoacetate. It is used in the production of thiourea, antifungal, antibacterial, anhydride, and antifungal agents. 4-Hydrazino-8-Trifluoromethyl-Quinoline can be used as a raw material for the synthesis of various chemical compounds due to its reactivity with amines. The reactions between 4-Hydrazino-8-Trifluoromethyl-Quinoline and thiourea yield 1,3,6,-triazinane derivatives. In addition, this compound has been shown to have antifungal activity against Candida albicans and Trichophyton mentagrophytes.
