It has been shown to be a long-term effective agent in the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis and other inflammatory diseases. HFC-227ea is a potent inhibitor of bacterial growth and has been shown to be effective against Propionibacterium acnes and Pseudomonas aeruginosa.
