Descripción:3-(Chloromethyl)-1,5-dimethyl-1H-pyrazole is a chemical compound that is obtained by reacting 3-methyl-1,5-dimethyl pyrazole with chloroform in the presence of sodium carbonate and refluxing. The filtrate obtained is then purified by eluting with sodium carbonate and acetonitrile. The residue obtained on evaporation of the solvent is distilled under reduced pressure.
