Descripción:ML216 is a chemotherapeutic drug that inhibits the repair mechanism of prostate cancer cells. It binds to leukocyte antigen (LFA-1) on the surface of tumor cells, and blocks the activity of suppressor genes that regulate the growth and development of these cells. ML216 has been shown to be active against prostate cancer cell lines in vitro and in vivo studies. This drug also has membrane permeability and anticancer activity.
