Descripción:Leukadherin-1 is a fluorescent peptide that inhibits the interaction of the neuropeptide cholecystokinin (CCK) and its receptor. It has been shown to bind to the CCK receptor and inhibit activation by CCK and other ligands, such as leucine enkephalin and thyrotropin releasing hormone. Leukadherin-1 has also been shown to activate the chemokine receptors CXCR4 and CXCR5. This molecule is an excellent research tool for studying protein interactions, as well as for identifying ligands or agonists for receptor proteins.
