Descripción:Iminodiacetic acid is a water-soluble, white crystalline solid. It is an antimicrobial agent that can be used in the treatment of bowel diseases. The compound is also used to treat wastewater effluents and as an additive in animal feeds. Iminodiacetic acid can be synthesized by reacting copper chloride with plasma mass spectrometry. Iminodiacetic acid has a coordination geometry of square planar, with a metal chelate at the corners of the square and two carbonyls at the center of the plane. High values for this compound have been found in human serum, urine, and cerebrospinal fluid samples.
