3-(1H-Imidazol-1-yl)propan-1-ol is an operational solvent that is used in the synthesis of radiotracers and solvents. The viscosity can be optimized using 3-(1H-Imidazol-1-yl)propan-1-ol with a low boiling point, which can make the process more reproducible. This solvent has been shown to optimize the filtration process by increasing the rate at which liquids pass through a filter.
