Isoaffinetin is a natural compound that has been shown to have pharmacological effects in diabetic patients. In vitro kinetic experiments on isolated rat liver cells using the preparative high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) method demonstrated an inhibitory effect on hepatic steatosis. The linear model of the preparative HPLC analysis was used to determine the concentration of isoflavones in plant tissue. Isoaffinetin was also found to be a natural compound with pharmacological properties and it has been shown to exhibit an inhibitory effect on hepatic steatosis.
