Información del producto
- 2-Iodo-9,9-dimethyl-9H-fluorene
- 9,9-Dimethyl-2-iodofluorene
2-Iodo-9,9-dimethylfluorene is a functionalized organic molecule that is used as a fluorescent dye. It has been shown to function as an efficient acceptor for low molecular weight electron acceptors and can be used in solar cells. 2-Iodo-9,9-dimethylfluorene exhibits fluorescence at temperatures below -5°C, which makes it a promising candidate for use in cryogenic applications. This compound also has the ability to absorb light in the ultraviolet region of the electromagnetic spectrum and isomerizes from the ground state (2a) to an excited singlet state (2b) with high quantum efficiency. The fluorescence of 2-iodo-9,9-dimethylfluorene can be quenched by methyl alcohols or other molecules that have similar chemical properties.
