Descripción:
3-Isopropylphenylboronicacid is a boron-containing organic compound that is used to synthesize dyestuffs. It can be made by reacting 3-isopropylphenol with boron trichloride and then oxidizing the resulting alcohol. This chemical has been used in optical strategies and yields, as well as for synthetic purposes. 3-Isopropylphenylboronicacid has also been used to functionalize diimides and other compounds. Research into this chemical has shown that it can absorb light at wavelengths of 200 nm to 350 nm, making it a potential candidate for use in fluorescence imaging.
