• Descripción: Isothiazol-3-one is a microbicidal agent that is used as an additive to water in the form of a liquid or powder. It is classified as reactive and hydrochloric acid, which means it reacts with water to produce chlorine and hydrochloric acid. The biocidal activity of the chemical is due to its ability to inhibit the growth of bacteria by reacting with their cell walls and destroying them.
