• Descripción: 3-Iodo-1H-pyrazolo[3,4-d]pyrimidin-4-amine is a corrosion inhibitor that has been shown to be effective against the growth of bacteria. It is a primary endpoint in the treatment of bacterial infections and has been shown to have the ability to inhibit bacterial growth. The 3-iodo-1H pyrazolo[3,4-d]pyrimidine ring is also an important part of a class of drugs that are used for the treatment of cancer, called anti-tumour antibiotics. These drugs bind to DNA and inhibit DNA synthesis by inhibiting transcription and replication. 3IODPY also binds to bacterial proteins and inhibits protein synthesis, leading to cell death by inhibiting the production of proteins vital for cell division.
