3-Iodo-N-phenylcarbazole is a monomer that belongs to the class of organic compounds. This compound also emits fluorescence under ultraviolet light and is used as an acceptor for fluorescence. 3-Iodo-N-phenylcarbazole should be handled with care because it reacts with halides, such as chlorine gas or hydrogen chloride gas, to produce toxic gases.
