Descripción:Isonicotinic acid is an intramolecular hydrogen compound that has been shown to have antimicrobial activity. It has the ability to bind to the surface of bacteria and inhibit their growth by forming a complex with water vapor. Isonicotinic acid also inhibits the growth of subcutaneous tumors in mice and is believed to have anti-inflammatory properties. Isonicotinic acid may be a non-toxic agent for the treatment of bacterial infections because it does not react with human serum or cause hemolysis.
