Descripción:Isonormangostin is a dulcisisoflavone that has been isolated from the stems and leaves of the plant Dulcis. Isonormangostin has been shown to have antibacterial activities against gram-positive bacteria such as Staphylococcus aureus and gram-negative bacteria such as Pseudomonas aeruginosa. Isonormangostin also scavenges radicals and can be used as an antioxidant. It is found in fruit, and can be identified using spectroscopic methods.
