3-Isooctoxyl ProPylamine is a solvent that is used as a surfactant in the formulation of paints and coatings. It has been shown to interact with xylene, which is an organic solvent. 3-Isooctoxyl ProPylamine has also been used in chemical structures as an acceptor for electron transfer reactions. It has been used to treat bronchial diseases, such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), by inhibiting hyperreactivity in the airways. 3-Isooctoxyl ProPylamine can be found in particle form and interacts with radiation, causing it to become excited and release photons or electrons. Chronic inflammatory diseases have been studied using histopathological study on rats treated with 3-isooctoxy propylamine.
