Kaempferol 6-C-glucoside is a flavonoid that has been shown to have radical scavenging activity and inhibit the growth of cancer cells. It is one of the most potent antioxidants found in plants and is able to scavenge free radicals by donating hydrogen atoms. Kaempferol 6-C-glucoside has been shown to inhibit the proliferation of breast, colon, lung, prostate and thyroid cancer cell lines.
