7-Keto-dehydroepiandrosterone is a hormone that belongs to the group of endogenous steroids. It has been shown to have a protective effect against mitochondrial membrane potential and cell lysis in humans and rats. 7-Keto-dehydroepiandrosterone has been shown to have an anti-obesity effect in humans, as it increases the body mass index and decreases the amounts of fat cells in adipose tissue.
